Why FleetAct

Different by design — general-purpose EAM was not built for the mobile mining fleet; OEM dispatch systems lock you to one vendor; native SAP gives you the data but not the insight. FleetAct sits between all of them — and gives you one place to act.

Comparison is based on publicly available information about each category. Prometheus Group, Modular Mining (Komatsu), Wenco (Hitachi) and SAP are mentioned descriptively; all trademarks belong to their owners. FleetAct is independent of and not affiliated with any of them.

Why not a general EAM?

Platforms like Prometheus Group are strong, AI-powered EAM suites with deep SAP, Oracle and Maximo integration — and they serve many industries well. But they are general-purpose. They were not built around the mobile mining fleet, the OEM alarm flood, or haul-cycle reality. FleetAct is mining-mobile-fleet-specific from the ground up — and priced as a one-off build, not a forever subscription.

Why not OEM dispatch?

Modular Mining's DISPATCH (Komatsu) and Wenco (Hitachi) are excellent at what they do — optimising haul cycles and dispatching trucks on the pit. They are also, by design, aligned to their OEM. They are not a place to aggregate every OEM alarm, every oil sample, and every SAP work order into one operations-aware plan. FleetAct is OEM-agnostic, and sits over dispatch rather than competing with it.

Why not native SAP?

You already run SAP S/4HANA — and FleetAct keeps it as the system of record, reading and writing via OData. Native SAP gives you the data, but not a mining-fleet operations console on top of it. FleetAct is that console — the unified view your crews actually use day to day, with SAP doing the heavy lifting underneath.

Why FleetAct?

Because the gap is not a better EAM, a better dispatch system, or a better SAP — it is the missing layer that unifies all three into one mining-fleet view. OEM-agnostic, SAP-integrated, Australian-hosted, and built as a one-off — so you own the use indefinitely, without a subscription that never ends.
